Brandy

Brandy is an unspayed female - 4 yrs. old, has never had pups.   Her mom was a purebred St. Bernard and father a Brittany  Spaniel.   She weighed 75 pounds at her last vet visit.  Brandy stands about 26" at the shoulders and measures 42" from the base of her tail to the tip of her nose.   Her owner says they have been unsuccessful keeping her confined using invisible fence with collar.  Her last rabies vaccination was in June 2003.  She was given puppy vaccinations and one booster later.  She was posted on several rescue groups and there have been a few responses.  However, when the original message was sent, I was under the impression that Brandy was a purebred St. Bernard, but yesterday found out that she is a mix.  She needs a new home with a secure fence.  If she stays where she is, she is going to get killed in the road.  If you can help find Brandy a home, or are interested in adopting her, please contact me as soon as possible.  Bbruce777@aol.com or phone 276-346-4257

Update on Brandy
9/5/03 - She has a new home waiting in the Alexandria, Va. area and will leave this coming Wednesday. 
9/15/03 - Transport could not be filled...still trying to arrange volunteer transport.
11/12/03 - Brandy has now been in Alexandria for about 3 weeks.  She is being cared for in a foster home waiting for her new home to be found.  The original home did not work out because Brandy had a seizure and had to stay in foster care until it was evaluated.
