We found this handsome guy on the interstate, hungry, affraid and lonely.  We named him Buddy, and brought him to our home in Florida where he learned what back to back hurricane evacuation was.  He did very well, as I am sure he was really confused wondering where we lived!  Buddy is very sweet and affectionate, follows you everywhere and is always nearby.  He has been fully checked out by our Vet., wormed, heartworm negative, neutered and given all shots,  the Vet said he is about 1-1 1/2 years old, very healthy and strong.  He is being crate trained and is learning basic commands, but does still need to be trained, he is housebroken.  Even rings a bell when he needs to go out!  His favorite hobbies are playing with our small  female dog and chasing squirrels, he plays well with our two children 9 and 6, BUT DOES NOT LIKE OTHER CHILDREN, he is very protective.  Buddy is an Alpha male, is playful, loyal, and would love to have a man or couple that do not have children to be his forever family.  He wants to be a companion, not just a dog in the yard.   He also likes to have conversations with you once he has gotten acquainted with you.  My research suggests that he may be a Tennessee Treeing Brindle.  His coloring is Black, caramel, brown Brindle and he weighs 56 pounds. We live in a small apartment and he needs a fenced yard where he can run and chase the squirrels and do what big dogs do.   Are you the family he is looking for?  If you think so, please email me at bestboats@earthlink.net
