Yanni arrived Feb. 26 and has had a rough time for a couple of months.  He ended up in a county shelter and then tested Heartworm positive.  He has had his heartworm treatment and feeling much better.  Then he was adopted, but was returned to the shelter a week later because his adopter was in an auto accident and could not care for him.

He has gained some weight and looking good!


Yanni enjoys a new game we invented.  I put him on a cable (for safety since part of my front yard is not enclosed) and then I "hide" treats on top of one of 3 fence posts.  I tell him to "wait" and then "find the treat".  The picture above and the ones below are Yanni in action finding the treats.  (The better pics just happened to be the same post.)    4/27/05
