Jazzy

The picture on the left was taken 6/28/04 - the day he was brought to me. He was infested with fleas and had sores all over his body.  I removed about 15 ticks from him and the inside of his ears were bloody where it looked like he had scratched to remove some himself.  I cut away badly matted fur that was beginning to irritate his skin.  There were so many that I decided to give him a summer cut, and then he was bathed and treated to remove the fleas.  He was very thin, so he had not fared well running as a stray.

Below is a couple of pictures taken July 15.  He has gained weight and feeling frisky.  His fur is light beige, almost white in places with back and tips of ears and tail being grey.  He is being given his vaccinations, and he has an appointment to be neutered and get his Rabies shot.

UPDATE 10/2/04 - Jazzy has been adopted!   His new home is in Winston-Salem, N.C.
