Smoky & Susie-Q

Two lucky dogs - abandoned and now in a caring, loving home!

These two were fortunate to be adopted locally by the same family almost immediately after their being taken into rescue.  Smoky came from a shelter in North Carolina and Susie-Q from a neighboring county Virginia Pound. 

Smoky is an unusually colored dark silver Shih Tzu.   He is very "laid-back" and mostly lies around looking very much like a stuffed toy!  His adoptive mom keeps him wonderfully groomed.  He is a handsome boy and knows it.  His favorite places are on his pillow bed on the covered patio, or behind the sofa. 

Susie-Q is a tiny 10 lb. Terrier mix with loads of personality.  Her favorite place is on a lap, especially her adoptive dad's!   She enjoys a ride and often accompanies Mr. Ely when he goes on his errands.
