Cookie

4/20/05 - just arrived
Cookie is a young female Cocker Spaniel that was picked up as a stray, ended up in a pound and her owners did not come to find her. She appears to have been well cared for. She has beautiful long curly ears, docked tail, and a splash of white with ticking on her face - distinct markings. She is smaller than most Cockers, weighing only 18 pounds.

Cookie is not yet available, but should be in about two weeks. She was spayed a couple of days ago and needs to recuperate from that. She will be wormed and vaccinations up-to-date before adoption. She will also need a heartworm test so that she can get started on heartworm prevention. Time is also needed to get to know her so that we get an idea of what she needs in her new home.
Update 5/3/05: Cookie has been adopted! She leaves today for her new home in Church Hill, Tn. where she will have two teenage girls waiting to pamper her and a fenced yard to play in. Cookie got a bath yesterday so that she will look pretty when she arrives.
