Cassie

Cassie was rescued from a shelter in northern Virginia. She was listed as a "Border Collie mix", but we think she is a Spaniel mix. Her coat is silky and as you can see from her pictures, she is sprinkled with "ticking" - small spots. Her face is one of her most unusual features - half black and half white with both ears being black. Her eyes are dark brown. She is not a large dog - weighs 20 pounds and stands 16 inches from the floor to the top of her front shoulder. The vet estimated her age at about 1 1/2 years old. Cassie has been spayed and is up-to-date on vaccinations, on Heartgard Plus.
Cassie has been in foster care since the end of May 2001. She is house-broken, gets along with other dogs -both large and small and is not cat-aggressive. She sleeps in her crate at night. She has been used to a fenced yard and it would probably be best if the adoptive home has one since she is active and needs exercise.
November 2001 - Cassie and Brandi were adopted together. They currently live in Fairfax County, Virginia.
